The warmer it gets outside, the more moisture the air can absorb.

The ideal room humidity for human well-being is between 45 and 55 percent. These values should be aimed for especially in places where people spend a lot of time, in the bedroom and living rooms for optimal relaxation and in the workplace for good performance. To ensure a comfortable and healthy indoor climate, the air humidity should never fall below 40% or rise above 60%.

Dehumidifiers prevent musty and mouldy smells, as well as mould fungi, and prevent the long-term decay of walls and building fabric (concrete spalling, wall corrosion). In addition, powerful dehumidifiers are used for gentle drying of laundry.

Note

With a dehumidifier, the room volume and temperature are always the decisive factors, as air circulation is taken into account. We have therefore noted the volume specifications for each product on our website.

There are also two different types of dehumidifiers - the condensation dehumidifier and the adsorption dehumidifier.

The condensation dehumidifier is the most commonly used because it dehumidifies efficiently from 10°C onwards. However, if the temperatures are below 10°C (from 1°C), an adsorption dehumidifier is used, which heats the air with its integrated heating element to enable dehumidification.
